Don Nelson si dimette, Dallas ad Avery Johnson Don Nelson, allenatore dei Dallas Mavericks ha rassegnato le dimissioni per motivi personali e sarà sostituito sulla panchina dal vice Avery Johnson che nel corso della stagione aveva già guidato squadra in 10 occasioni con un record di 7 vittorie e 3 sconfitte.

La guardia degli Orlando Magic Steve Francis è stato sospeso a tempo indeterminato senza paga per aver preso a calci un fotografo durante la gara della scorsa notte a Seattle, la notizia è stata data direttamente dal vice presidente della Nba Stu Jackson.
La durata effettiva della sospensione sarà annunciata solo dopo che la lega avrà fatto le dovute indagini. Francis ha saltato la gara di questa notte a Portland contro i Blazers (vinta dai Magic 97-92).
L'episodio si è verificato quando mancavano 8'57" alla fine dei 4° periodo. |
